(NSFW). Well let me start by saying that I didn't try out the additional dragon types in Deadly Dragons because they don't follow lore. I also experienced a significantly higher crash rate with during dragon spawns which really became frustrating.Deadly Dragons seems as though the dragons just have increased stats, which was nice but it led to me just trying to run away through the majority of early game. The FAQ says otherwise but that's the impression I got before I uninstalled.DCO improves the dragons a larger selection of attacks and (this is the kicker) gives them mass. When a dragon lands next to you, if you don't block you can easily get knocked off your feet. This made fighting them way more enjoyable for me as its much more immersive. Overall it makes battling them more difficult because of the strategy involved and turns the flow away from wait to land, go crazy, repeat.

Supposedly group dragon AI is better but I haven't tested this yet. I use both, along with 'More Dragons!' This basically means I get my butt handed to me by a dragon every 2-3 days in-game.Usually, about the time you think 'hey, I haven't seen a dragon in a little while', an Elder Dragon drops on you from above and feasts on your flesh.Just Deadly Dragons alone can make things pretty rough; setting attributes to +150%, damage to +25% and resists/armor to +30 can make them a pretty long fight if you're running solo.DCO uses a lot of knockback and knockdown with the AI, so if you're melee, it might get a bit frustrating. Again, it will be a lot more difficult with both enabled, but they do work well together.
